Based just to the south of Gloucester on a modern business park Jentin Racing Ltd are a motorsports company that operate as a race team within the British Superbike Championship.

Formed at the start of 2001 to compete in the Junior Superstock class with rider Tim Lerego, the team’s progress quickly gathered pace moving on the next year to European Superstock running at the front at both Monza and Assen with Luke Quigley on board. First outright wins and the Thruxton lap record came in 03 where Matt Llewellyn battled all season for outright championship honours on the Lloyds British backed Suzukis.

The inevitable move up into Superbikes came in 04 where a very much up and coming James Ellison agreed to ride for the team.

A quite sensational season followed where win after win in the Superbike Cup led inevitably to outright championship victory. Along the way the team also found time to compete in a couple of rounds of the World Superbike Championship taking a quite incredible three top ten finishes along the way.

With James moving on into Moto GP Jentin Racing decided that having now won the Superbike Cup the concentration from that point on should be the main British Superbike class where they would be in direct competition, point for point, against some of the best factory backed race teams in the world. This position continues to this day where current rider Simon Andrews, using Lloyds British backed Yamahas, has claimed several hard fought top ten places during an exciting and dramatic 07 season.
